Most definitely. The car feels like it pulls harder in the 3000-5000 rpm range in first, second and third gear. I have an m6 with stock gearing. My neighbor has a 68 Firebird and has that old school jack of all trades quality I admire and find missing in my generation. If I run into trouble with a project, it's so nice to be able to pick his brain and get advice. For example, while doing the timing belt change on my wife's Honda Pilot I was having trouble removing the crank bolt. I bought the special tool, had a stout 1/2" drive breaker bar with a long metal pipe slid over it for leverage, and I still couldn't break the bolt free. My neighbor said hang on a second, went to his garage and came back with a heavy duty chain. He wrapped the chain around the breaker bar, holding it securely to the axle and told me to go inside the car and tap the starter. Just a tap, no more. I did, and in one second the bolt broke free. This after my one hour of trying different combinations of breaker bars and wrestling around left me frustrated. Anyways, we discussed that I was considering gears next, then we went for a drive after I installed the HFCs. While driving my Camaro with a big grin on his face he turns to me and says, "are you sure you still want to do gears". We both laughed cause we knew the answer to that question.

I think that sums up any doubt about whether there is a difference. I have no direct measurements or numbers to offer, but we both felt a significant difference.

Much louder, and much more aggressive sounding. Very happy with the results. The MF resonated x-pipe keeps it mellow inside, till you start to open her up. Outside, she sounds awesome!

Should I delete the stock resonators or leave them on.

Are you putting on the res xpipe? If you take the resonators off without it, you'll get a lot of rasp.

I wouldn't be the person to answer that. I kept mine on. I figured I could always take them off after the HFCs if I wanted to. I don't think I'm going to though, since I love the sound now.

Has anyone tried installing these downflow pipes while leaving the Stock Muffler setup on? Just curious. I was really disappointed with the MBRP Exhaust Drone so for now I put the stock mufflers back on but left the Magnaflow Resonated X-Pipe in there which gives it a little growl at higher RPMs.

If you don't want any drone at highway or constant speed running, but want loud and ripping during WOT, you won't be disappointed with the DynoMax VT mufflers, and you'll like the price too. Zero drone, nice low tone, when the valves open under acceleration and WOT it lets the exhaust pass straight through for a great sounding roar. I've loved mine since 2014.
