I have noticed that, and I hate it. It pushes too much air when it is off.

Even though it is a concern with all the problems they are having under warranty, it's the styling for me. Alpha is too narrow so they had to extend the track width for the Camaro and too cramped with that raised rear seat H-point to rear axle centerline. Then, they styled it like a future Mustang with afastback roofline and dropped rear shoulders.

I'll never trade my 5th gen in for one based on styling alone. I don't care how fast they get. Same thing with the 4th gens back in the day. They were a lot faster than the 3rd gens, but the minivan inspired front windshield and shovel nose sloped hood just killed it for me.

Even when you set the fan to Off it's always on low. Flow-through ventilation it's called.
Just read the thread. It's on the warranty sub forum.

I looked at new 2016 before I bought my used 2015.Besides the ridiculous price they were asking , the narrower seats on the new one were pretty much a deal-breaker for me.

You have to make the new one look a lot better than the last generation. The 5th gen was such a smash hit, stylistically, they wanted to emulate the 5th gen style and it came off badly on the smaller platform.

What they should have done is designed the 6th gen with a retro 2nd gen F-body inspired design theme. This would have taken it in a totally new design direction compared to the 5th gen and quite frankly, would have worked a lot better on Alpha. One piece side windows would allowed the designers more freedom in making the rear quarter panels less chunky.

Unfortunately, they got greedy and wanted to continue the hughly successful 5th gen design theme which has been somewhat played out.

Issue number 1, the Camaro should sell as an SS coupe, manual trans, cloth seat option, for $32,000.
Issue number 2, while I do like the performance numbers on the Gen6, it should have continued with a retro look (gen2 anyone), as it seemed to sell well.

If you would some great prices on some great cars, then don't expect production here in the US.

Sad the way it works, but hey...
It's the unions that killed the American auto industry. We can't compete with
foreign workers when the unions insisted manufactures pay workers $40.00
an hour plus benefits to put tires and wheels on new cars.

Not just foreign...you have many non union autoworkers making way less then their union counterparts.

You do know that contractors created unions, don't you?
They did this for their benefit, not the workers.

If thats true........ A Silverado 1500 Crew cab made in Mexico where the assembly line makes $8 /hr, SHOULD cost a lot less than a Silverado 1500 Double Cab assembled in Indiana for $16-$30/hr.( assembly lines are on two tiered wage scales, been happening since 2007)

But yet it doesn't.

The trucks and SUVs I've looked at are quite expensive, sometimes more than our beloved Camaros.
Driving a truck just because you like to drive a truck is common around here. I took a girl to lunch Friday in my Lexus GS350 and she said it was weird riding in a car since her and her husband both have trucks. Some people just like driving much higher off the ground. I personally don't get it.

I paid quite a bit more for my truck than my Camaro. When my wife had to have a truck because it looked cool. Yeah it looks cool in all its jacked up big tire glory. But it rides like a damn truck and I have to climb up into it.
