Hey there guys, i drive a 2013 convertible 2LT/RS Camaro and lately i got the check engine light on so i checked it using the ELM327 OBD II Scan tool and i got these error codes
P0496:Evaporative emission system high purge flow ![]() P0442:Evaporative emission control system leak detected (small leak) in the beginning it was only the P0442 but afterwards i got the other one too. the main problem is when i refill my gas tank the car won't start from the first ignition attempt so how can i solve this ? should i replace the Evap under the hood or the canister near the gas tank under the car ? i would appreciate some answers specially if u had the same problem

You have to do a smoke test to determine which sensor.
Do a search on here, most have been the purge valve in the tank.

Purge solenoid is usually fairly cheap and is located under the hood. A fairly easy fix. The evap small leak can be a bit difficult to pin down. Take a look at the o ring around your fuel filler cap. If there is any dirt or debris, clean it and reinstall your cap.
