It looks more intimidating than it actually is to do. You just need to take your time and be meticulous. Ofer made great instructions.
I bought the monochrome HUD kit from Gen5dyi.com (Ofer) over a year ago and then they came out with the color one so I bought the color unit since I had the wiring harness, bezel and controls. With the MyLink upgrade kit it was time to do both. So I took a deep breathe and did it. And it turned out GREAT! DO IT! You'll be soooo glad you did!
If you are looking to save money for a HUD I have my new monochrome HUD for sale for $250.00 and then you just need Gen5dyi.com harness, bezel, and controls. Ofer can help you with that.

Well, I've had Ofer's color HUD kit for over a year and I finally got around to installing it along with a 2014 dash. It went well. It took me 2 days, one to take it apart and one to put it back together. It works as advertised. I love it!

I have the HUD projector NIB from the factory. I was going to install it in my 2010. But I bought a 2012 with it in there. If anyone wants to buy the most expensive part of the change I'll sell it for $150 plus shipping. PM if interested.
