Should be close to 200 lbs with side glass window and Lexan rear. I'll have final numbers once completed.

Russ,
Been following on Instagram and the car looks great with the carbon fitted!

Would you share how much weight the bodywork panels alone saved?

Post a few more pics on here!

Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Arsenal

UPDATES: Here is a pic of the Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Arsenal being installed on the car by HG Motorsports down in San Diego. They did a great job. Custom mount for the APR wing was also put in by master welder Eric to chassis mount to the car. This was huge improvement in the feel of the car and stability in cornering. The Carbon Fiber parts are seriously phenomenal and highly recommended. The Dry carbon Hood, Roof and Trunk and so dang light and look great on the car. The Carbon Fiber Doors were probably the most noticeable to me on the difference of weight and the combination of the carbon fiber fenders look so clean. Everything fits very well and if you want to you can use all OEM panels and hardware with no sacrifice. I removed all the glass, motors and locks. I actually left the door panels on for now until we make a new skin for the interior. The carbon fiber really sets the car off and I could not be more happy with the finished results.

NASA WESTERN NATIONALS TT2 3rd Place Podium Finish

So a full season of running the Z28 Camaro in NASA Time Trial TT2 group and I could not be more impressed and satisfied with what the Z28 provides. This was by far the most reliable and enjoyable year of my 8+ years of racing. It was also my most competitive. The car came to battle every single time. Put down 30+ hours of seat time, 18 track days and 76 track sessions and literally the only thing I had to change was oil, fill the gas tank, change two sets of front brake pads and two sets of tires.
I placed top three at every single event this year with many 1st, 2nd and 3rd spots, finished 3rd place overall for the Southern California season points and also took 3rd place podium finish for the NASA Western Nationals. This is all with a bone stock Z28 Camaro (minus some aero) no modifications to the engine or suspension. I was only about 1-3 seconds behind 2nd place and 1st place and that is only because they were running full race slicks.
Next year I plan on having a set of extra wheels with race slicks to put down my fast times and possibly upgraded suspension and will hopefully look to a first place finish.
I want to personally thank the many sponsors that have contributed to the success of this season. These companies all make the best product and I appreciate the opportunity to work with them towards success.

UPDATE SEMA: Custom Vehicle GatorWRAP

For SEMA we had the car vinyl wrapped. As my company is focused on iPad integrations and application development we went with a digital theme. This is a partial wrap so that we can show off the incredible Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber panels. GATOR WRAPS did a very good job especially under the gun for SEMA. I will run this for the 2017 season for NASA and then go from there. They are based here in Laguna Niguel which was around the corner from my office which was nice.
