15 Camaro 2LT Ghost Cam sound [Trifecta Tune]
I was asked by some fellow members of camaro5 to post the ghost cam.
Youtube videos show a pretty good example of how my car sounds with this ghost cam on and it sounds insanely great. Almost unbelievable to me... amazing.... but its nothing like in person even better sounding because you hear every little bit Please use hi-def head phones to hear the best possible sound quality Videos are below:

Well......imo it really doesn't sound like anything. It's definetely not as loopy as a real cam oviously. Maybe it's the vid but I really don't see any benefit to doing this....zero performance gains and not that great of sound. If you like it thats fine but in a crowd of car guys I'm thinking they won't notice at all.

The trifecta tune gives performance results... ghost cam is just an option.

My tuner told me that those tunes were terrible, and that he doesn't put them on any of his cars, or recommend them on any of the cars that he touches. You have absolutely no performance gain, and a lean idling car.
Granted GM has done some of this with their cars, but I'll leave it up to the manufacturers.

Your tuner buddy can say whatever he wants. I've built and added parts to my car (myself)... not a local mechanic or tuner guy. As of real proof for the ghost cam damaging or being "terrible" to your car there is none. I know former people who have done it and never seen any issues so honestly I don't know where that came from.

While Matt from FSP has gone out of business, his reputation as a tuner, is pretty stout. It is his and the opinions of the vast majority of tuners over on HPTuners forums regarding Ghost cam tunes is similar. Most won't and don't mess with them for the reasons I have already stated.

Lastly, the fact that you have performance results, is not related to the ghost cam tune, Its a product of Trifectas tune, which incorporates other aspects. If you just installed the ghost cam tune portion alone, you would see no gains.

I recently added the spectre air intake cold air intake and will be doing a dyno tune real soon. Thats how much im going to be expecting around. The tune takes advantage of better air intake (like most tunes)

So I understand where you are coming from, however the advantage in the other tune will be cool but not that significant compared to the trifecta package. Not to mention it probably will be cheaper. The ghost cam idle is just sick especially when theres an echo it sounds crazy. But in regards to problems I have never heard of it. Think of it in a business aspect, if the company broke so many cars or were associated with it wouldn't their reputation be already known?

Its not a real cam, it doesn't have to be. Even if it was a real cam in my opinion I would get around 40-60HP (with a v8 engine) so its an increase and all but its nothing significant and on a v6 it would be much less. But thats my opinon, everyone has their own.

Well im putting down 360 rwhp with boltons and a dyno tune. ...in a v8 . Your expectations are on the high side....dont be disappointed with alot lower number.....your cai will give you a few ..and a tune will give you a few but I dont see you coming anywhere near your target. Where did you get your numbers ? Are all your mods in your sig ? If so I think you need a few more parts to get to your goal.

I would think around 275whp with intake/exhaust/tune.
