Details worked out and already shipping a second kit out the door.

This is our solution. http://www.jpssonline.com/#/jpss-oil-cooler-kit/

Me like a lot... any way to add a trans cooler to the top of that bar?

Or do you think i can run this cooler and mount it to your bar ?

Also ... any way to add a tow hook without drilling them front ? Get it to fit between the fins?

Willow Springs middle of jan... would like to have this on the car

Well after tracking the car at Big Willow this weekend I'm reviving this tread. I really dont want to spend $1800 for JP's kit. I'm not sold on the alum crash bar either. I know it helps shed some weight but I dont like doing that at the cost of safety.

Any other ideas?

Thx

It adds about $75 to the kit cost.

We can do a a steel bar, same style. It is a more complicated mount because we can't directly weld the cooler to the bar.

We plumb it with -12 lines with Brown and Miller Racing crimped on fittings. Using the -12 lines we are confident the flow through the hose and bends in fittings is equal to a -8 internal style journal / hard line.
Cool setup Pete, is that the steel bar we designed and made for Darren's car?

Hey everybody,

I know this thread is pretty old; but for those who are still looking, Mishimoto is in the process of developing a direct fit oil cooler kit for the 5th Gen SS. Feel free to check out our thread!

Thanks!

My LS1 Corvette was in the 310 range. I would then have to let it cool down.
That was enough to kill the engine. Been down 6 months. Hope to get it back next week.

My Z28 will not be allowed to get that hot.
