Had a guy in a Mercedes compliment my car today

When I get gas, usually people make rude comments, sniff and walk away , but that's just me after Taco Bell....

I'm quite the opposite, there is no way I can bring myself to get rid of my Camry. I love that car, and now the Camaro. If you still have the Camry and plan on keeping it, you can give it a couple face lifts such as the black halo headlights. Will it be as cool as the Camaro? No, but for me it has been a great all around car since buying it new in 2000.




I didn't get any good pictures of the Camaro just yet, but do have these from when it was delivered to the dealership.

I will add my story...driving on two lane local side road. Guy next to me prompts me to roll window down and asks me to please pull into the BK lot.

He is driving the mercedes two door sports car. He loves my car and is considering buying one off a lot and trading in his Mercedes. He spends 20 minutes drilling me with questions.

He then states I am running to that dealer and making the trade for a NEW CAMARO tonight ! Another one for the GOOD guys, sorry Mercedes.

I bet the older guys in Mercedes, Lexus, etc. had or wanted a Camaro when they were younger. I had a guy who looked in his 60's ask if the new Camaro in the parking lot was mine (I was wearing a Camaro shirt). When I said yes, he said how cool he thought they were. We left about the same time and he got into a Mercedes SL500.

I posted this before but have to do it again: On a recent trip South, Not one but two female toll attendants in N.J. and Maryland commented "nice car" on my Camaro-
Now those are complements !.

Lots of Mercedes, Lexus, and BMW drivers around here. Will get compliments sometimes, but usually people are just too stuck up and give me a snare.

Two things happened to me today...

1 - I was at the dr today and I heard the nurses talking about this CAMARO in the parking lot and they were so excited about it, the one nurse said she had seen it there before...when they walked past me, I politely said that it was mine and they complimented me and said they LOVE Camaros, especially mine...

2 - On the way home, I was at a light and there was a guy in a beautiful black Mercedes Benz...he was giving me a huge "thumbs up", and I smiled and waved and then he put his window down and so did I and he asked me if I liked my car, and as you can imagine, I said, "OMG, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my car...he asked me how long I had it, and I said 4 months, and he said it was an awesome car and good luck with it!!!...

You have one of the coolest cars out! Doesn't matter what someone else is driving ...the really cool guys know how smoking hot the new camaro is....and it shows true class to tell the owner just how lucky he is!!!

Enjoy that ride!!!!!! Bad@ss for sure!
