LSX 376B-15 A GOOD READ/DATA

So I decided to share this here as many often ask why does ADM PERFORMANCE use the LSX 376B-15 so much.

Couldnt a lighter weight ls3 block with some forged internals do the same thing for less money

An ERL 6 bolt super deck block is strong enough for some serious hp, properly built you can have a LS3 putting down 1200 whp. All the price quotes I have got, price an LS3 with parts to support 1000 are still less than a LSX setup. I don't know what ADM charges people so I haven't gotten a price from Andy. Not saying that the B-15 LSX isn't worth it, it depends on your goals. If your planning on serious power later down the road, then I would have one too.

Really - Complete from valvecovers to windage tray

All the price quotes I have got, price an LS3 with parts to support 1000 are still less than a LSX setup.

I gotta see this? Please don't use the words "EAGLE" or "SCAT" in any of your quotes !

This truly is a hell of long block option for the price. $8000ish and your ready to drop your forced induction system on the top and be able to crank it up. Pretty damn nice.

I wish that Chevy would create a LSX option just like this that has the LSA heads on it. They could call it the LSX 376B-20! Makes me wonder why Chevy uses the 6 bolt LS3 heads here rather than the LSA???

A lot of reasons -

LSA Intake valves is heavier
LSA Head has a huge swirl wall that decrease flow over the lsx head
6 bolts around ea piston is better than 4

They also give a warranty.

Very interesting. You're talking me into this. I'd love to turn up my 2.8L Kenne Bell on one of these and see what it can do.

I was wrong on the price of that block

Its $299 right now

So take a good look at the meat between cylinders on a 5.3 compared to a ls7

There are many x275 drag cars running this

I have many friends that run a 5.3 with an 88mm turbo making 1100-1200 rwhp on my dyno. These are real race cars with power glides....by no means stock cars lightly modified.
