Ok maybe its not the Antenna, maybe its some other sub point of the XM Service. But I have never had a car loose signal so much. I can be sitting next to a lifted truck and loose signal.
Today as tractor trailers drove by me....it would fuzz out.

Anyone else experience this, looks like in my search plenty of people have reception issues. Not sure if anyone ever found a fix.

We loose it for a second under some overpasses, and when the coastal trees cover the road. Its the first car we have had with it, so I guess it does not bother me because I thought it was normal.

Goofy, yours may have a problem... mine is like Gaga's, it only loses signal under some overpasses, and occasionally due to terrain, like heavy tree cover or deep canyons.

If you are still under warranty, maybe they can do something... when you go to the dealership, be sure to park next to a lifted truck or a building, just so you can demonstrate the failure!

Definitely a problem. All I listen to in my car is XM and it comes through great.

I though the same thing. When I drive down roads with trees on either side it cuts out. worst I have ever seen. I avoid certain roads now cause I hate to loose the service.

Mine cuts out for no reason sometimes. Oddly it seems worse when the weather is nice.

We've had xm for awhile now and had the convertible Camaro two years. It's just the last six months that my reception had been bad. I hav one intersection that's wide open, no bridges or buildings, and it cuts out there every day.

You know you can call XM and have them refresh the signal. I had the problem once in my Malibu and that fixed it.

I only ever lost it when I went under an overpass. When it decides it wants to work haha. When I bought the car in August I had it for about a month and loved it. Then one day it said channel unauthorized. So I figured a free trial I apparently had was up and that was the end of it. But about a month later my girlfriend clicked the preset I had for it and I had it back! Enjoyed it for about 3 more weeks and now it's said channel unauthorized ever since haha. I check it about once a week to make sure it hasn't come back again, but who knows whats up with it

Mine does seem a little more sporadic lately. BTW, you lose a signal, not 'loose' one.

Yeah, they keep giving a free trial with the hope that you buy it.

I never lose signal, not even under overpasses. I think the only place I may not get signal is when I have my car inside our shop, and I'm not 100% sure on that, I may actually get signal in there too.
