Hey Windy thanks for the pics! I have learned a lot from your trip already.
Like: Those chrome fender badges look great, not over the top, very classy.
Now I know why they charge for a detailing, man they get dirty up there.
LPE is a class act, they had yours cleaned up and ready to start when you got there.
These guys are at the top of there game, they understand car nuts like us and know its the little things matter.

Give me more! Tell us bout the place and people working there. What was it like to hear yours start up? When will they get yours done?
Looks like you will be the first among us to drive the beast, can't wait to hear about it.

Awesome!!!!! Great pics and video. Nice to see your car and hear it fire up for the first time. It's like you are a kid in a candy store there - thats what it was like for me. I can't wait to see your car on the dyno, I bet you really can't wait to get it back now...looking forward to some more pics and info.

I have to get back to churning butter for the family - maybe looking to trade my car in on the "Wagon-Train" edition Camaro next year. J/K It was funny, I brought a friend along from California to the track with me and he said "Wow - I thought that a drag strip would be closer to a real town or city and not in the middle of no where." Fun times had by all though.

Hi Speed No pun intended!
The trip to Lingenfelter Performance was great! The road there was good and the weather could not have co-operated any better.

I was begging for them to put a supercharger on my Road Glide but no go! And why not? Because they have refined late model GM work to science there! 30+ years of knowledge, experience, and moving in one direction really shows!

Lingenfelter is an example that all others should lust to mimic. The talent that they have on tap is what really impressed me. I have been a business owner my whole life, I can personally attest to the secret for success is surrounding yourself with good people. Let me assure everyone, Lingenfelter has a Top Notch team!

Every person I came in contact with was knowledgeable and personable. Horsepower seems to flow in the veins of every one there and it seems to weep from the walls. One just has to glance around to see the GM performance history that is contained in those walls. Camaros abound, mixed with the likes of C5 and C6 Corvettes, CTS-V's, Suburbans, Tahoes, and the occasional Viper.

I have stories and I have news. One of the most exciting things I can tell anyone reading this, if you are a body mod guy, save your pennies. Lingenfelter is working on some awesome stuff, the likes of which you won't believe until you see them completed!

I could talk about some of the power plant things coming down the line but the black Suburbans would pull up and I would never be seen from again!

I'll assemble my duckies and get some more posts up here as time allows. Been a busy beaver at work, getting ready to tie the knot,(or shackles) and preparing for the arrival of what my girl calls "our newest offspring".

Hey Windy Congrats on the anchor. My father once told me a woman can either drag you down or support and pitch in to help you succeed. Here's to yours being the latter!

Windy, now you are blowing our mind(s).... we (Well, maybe just me) need some clarification here..

Tie the knot...
as in Wedding?

our newest offspring?
is that for THE BEAST,
or a little bundle of JOY (via the stork)?

Congratulations are in order! Good things happenin' in the Windy Household!
Nothing wrong with having a good "ball and chain".

If the second is an offspring, there is nothing better! It will make you life complete.Little ones are a lot of work but worth every bit of it.

If the second refers to THE BEAST coming home, it's old news.. we all knew the car would find it's way home someday...

Speed, you always make me laugh, even though you ain't trying! A friggen cow on the track! You oughta come up here to the big city some time, we have telephones, and taking picture boxes, and indoor plumbing!
I am editing the pics now and I will get them up right away. FYI, I have a video of my beast the first time it came to life, pics of LOTS of Camaros, pics of 24's pull including a photo of the dyno screen, and some really cool news!
I'll start workin now and get the posts up post haste!
Windy, thanks a million for taking time out of your short trip to appease all of us here with the pics and stories. It is much much appreciated. You're car looks awesome , she looks like shes rearing to go.

I understand how hard it is to take time off. Ive been in the same boat for the last 20+ yrs, 14-16 hrs a day 6 to 7 days a week and don't ever seem to get caught up. I'm guessing once you tie the knot you may not even have time to go on a honeymoon. Well if you don't end up going on a honeymoon maybe you and yours can take the newly lingenfelterized beast out and break her in. Glad you had a good trip and you are home safe and sound.

Thanks for all the good wishes. But I should be careful on choosing my words. My girl considers the Maro as another lil one! NO MORE RUG RATS!
Mine are 19 & 20 and I am DONE.
I'm not as crazy as Junkie!

Thanks RS! We are planning on going to Barrett Jackson next month for the Honeymoon. First significant time off in 17 years.
14-16 a day here also, but what the hell, there will be time to rest when they put me in the ground.

Ummm.. so.. are you getting married?

Glad the little one is THE BEAST. That puppy is gonna be horny when it gets home.. wants to be rubbed, flogged, and fed well. Not in that order..

Glad you already had the litter. Diapers SUCK.

Thanks again for the pictures!
