What Did You Do To Your Camaro Today?

Picked up the Power stop street warrior kit with a set of 2" Black Gorilla lug nuts from summit racing. The lug nuts are open ended which I thin is pretty cool...... I'm still debating on plasti dipping the rims cause I have nics on them. My neighbor is a self employed mechanic and works for beer when it comes to us, he won't take money, Haha He says the rotor and brake job is a "two beer" job so don't take it anywhere to get it done since I'm still recovering from back surgery... good people I tell ya I will have my sons help out which would give them some more automotive knowledge....

Yes sir will do, my neighbor has about three or four days worth of work in his driveway right now but says he can squeeze me in, just don't know when that will be.... I will surely post as we progress.

Nice! And the set you got came with pads that have the skates on them.

If they start squeeling, don't give up on them... have them turned a bit.

If you follow the break-in procedure, it should keep them in good shape for a long time!

Install's pretty easy. Take the wheel off, remove the brake pads, untighten a few bolts to remove the calipers, untighten a few fasteners that hold the rotor, install new rotors and pads.

When you say turned a bit, what exactly do you mean? Sorry if I'm overthinking it......I would do them myself but I can't get that low yet. I still have issues moving around but it's soooo tempting haha... I read that also about braking them in properly to ensure the seating and all. I love the way they look and for the price you can't beat it. They sure are heavy though, lifted one out the package and it sent a sharp pain to my back. I won't do that again, smh. Im ready to get them done though, need to touch up the brembo calipers while I'm at it.

Yeah, I read you're still healing... take it easy for sure until you get better.

'turned a bit' = Shave a little off the top, sorta speak. Any good wheel shop can take care of that pretty quick for you. Cost me $15 bucks each rotor to do that at Brake Masters.

I was looking at those also but I would have to remove the autobot emblems which is something I don't want to do.
The install looks real good, I like how they look very natural and not placed...

I too have been eyeballing those 3dCarbon vents. Still on the fence about them, though. They do look good on other people's cars, but not sure if they will on mine yet or not to my liking. Maybe I'll do a render or something.

I think you should throw these on your ride. I haven't seen a side profile of your car so I don't know if you have side skirts. I plan on doing these with the APR performance splitter that you have. They go for $1,026 on multiple sites. I found them on Vivid racing, It's the Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Side Skirts OEM Style. Matches your hood also I believe....

Those look great and just thinking about it in my head, I think they would look great on my ride... thanks! Something to definitely think about.

Right now I am wearing 3dCarbon side skirts and rear slats for my ground effects. I bought the set painted to match from Phastek. Those were expensive (I think 700+ for just the side skirts) and, lol I forgot to list them in the 'how much have you spent on your car' thread.

That CF set must be over 1k...

Side profile;
