I am at 18.4 avg in my SS with mods below.
I tend to drive like a moron and use Sport Mode/Tap-Shift almost exclusively.

I've driven about 2500 miles since I purchased the car 2 months ago. I reset the MPG on it the first day, and right now i'm sitting at 23.1 MPG
That's half city and half highway.

I have gotten between 23.8 and 24.5 combined city and highway with my V6, since I bought it new in August 2015. It's got a little under 15k on it now.
I don't beat on it and it is bone stock, so that may help, but you are not getting anywhere near the MPG you should be getting, IMHO. Good instincts to check in with this community as these guys/girls really know their stuff! :-)

I get 22-23 combined driving and about 30 on the highway if I keep it to about 70 and use cruise control. The manual tranny might help, although it does have slightly taller rear gears.

depends on what is city. NYC you're probably doing good at 13mpg in a v6. Closest thing to a city to me is Buffalo NY and I dont drive enough in Buffalo to calculate it. I live in a small town and thats not enough to calculate it. I do however get 20 mpg average with all my mods in the country with small 1 stop towns 30mph every 5-10 or so miles. I give her gas every once in awhile but i dont usually break 80 befor letting off to cruise at 60. The lowest I ever got was 13mpg after driving it like i stole it 4 burnouts and hitting 120 a few maybe a 150mph

Really can't compare too much with other people. There are far too many factors involved. Many people just drive their cars on weekends and/or spend a lot of their driving time on highways.
If you're daily driving and spend time in rush hour, every time your stopped and idling is dropping that number. Traffic is such here, that in rush hour, I'm basically stuck at some traffic lights through two or more cycles, or the lights are ridiculously long. Fortunately, my schedule doesn't put me in rush hour that often. |
