FS - New 2" Kooks headers/cats CHEAP in central TX **SOLD**

Selling a set of BRAND NEW Kooks 2" headers and cats for Z/28. Also comes with a new set of Stage 8 locking header bolts. Never installed, as I traded my Z/28 before I had a chance to. I would also think they would fit any Gen5 v8 with a reducer to the mid-pipe, but that's up to you. I'm about 30min north of Austin (Walburg). Pick up only with cash in hand. A great deal at $1000, which is 30% off the best price you will find anywhere.

Is it really that bad without cats? I've had many 4th gen f bodies without cats

If you did decide to ship these, do they come with gaskets or o2 extensions?

I have both catless and catted connection pipes. I lasted 1 day with catless.

Wow must be bad then. Do you know if there's any real power differences with and without converters

Butt dyno says under 10hp, slightly noticeable but worth the trade off.

The areo package on this car creates a big negative pocket behind the car so when you come to a stop at a light it sucks all the fumes forward. Will literally bring a tear to you eyes with the windows down. this is just my theory.

They come with gaskets, header bolts, and O2 extensions.
Would really prefer not shipping. PITA and a good $100+ for the 2 boxes...

Your butt can tell 10hp on a 500hp car?
If you could feel a difference it has to be a lot more then that.

Going from stock manifolds to headers without cats was a HUGE difference, I mean HUGE, mostly in the low / mid range not much up top increase. When I installed the catted pipes only felt a minor drop in the low / mid range, again not much difference up top. I have no tune. Lets say 10hp loss under the curve not peak hp.
