On the SS with the RS package that includes the HID headlights those become daytime running lights. They are not fog lights. Many threads on options for on/off, changing the bulbs, running with just the halo's on etc...

Without modifying your wiring, The only way to get the DRL's to turn off is to manually turn your headlights on, or turn the car off.

On my 2013, I twist the dial to turn off DRLs and push in center for fog lights.

Sounds like yours isn't an RS. My '10 non-RS SS was the same. Doesn't twisting dial to the right turn off DRLs in an RS? That works in my ZL1, but I have separate DRLs and fogs.

Turn the knob to the left. Then it will turn them off. One turn to the right is for the halos. One more turn is for the headlights. Some people who have the option of using foglights simply just pushes the button in

I see by your avatar that you have only 4 posts so I presume you just bought this Camaro used. Now does your drl's stay on with your headlights on. If you bought it used the previous owner probably bought a harness to keep them on. If they don't stay on when your headlights are on all you need to do is turn the light knob to the left everytime you start the the car and your drl's will be off.

Sorry, I meant to the left. That should kill everything.
