So lets say I want to throw a full exhaust on the car next year. If I install the hardware would you guys be able to tune it to pass emissions testing for me?

01 TA here w/ long tubes, no cats, and true duals that dump before the axle. Visibly I fail, that goes without saying. However, I got a tune from Slowhawk and it fixed my check engine light (not on at all) and it passes inspection when hooked up to the computer.

If I owned a new camaro, a full exhaust would be first on my list.

Is this still the case? I am very interested in the answer. My prior car was tuned and had test pipes with sensors bypassed and failed horribly. Got sent to a MAC center had to remove tune and pipes.

As for the Camaro specifically and this terrible state I would want to know what will pass for exhaust set ups.

Headers and high flows pass no problem, tune is essential though so the sensors are in a ready state.

Have you passed with a tune? Does the Camaro's tune change the ROM/Serial number when it downloads a tune. I was told a flashed ROM/ECU will change from its stock number and the State's reader will detect it. My software did. Many tuned turbo cars had issues as well.

I have ARH long tube headers, no cats, installed by Slowhawk Performance on my Z/28. Passed Massachusetts inspection in November, no problem. Didn't have to "make nice" or anything like that.

With a tune, no problem. We hit a high of 48 header installs this year on Vette's,camaro's. 90% had no cats. All pass inspection. Even had a few 850+ rwhp built Camaro's pass no problem. In other words, can make any build pass inspection.
