Hello bpc, I answered this question for you here.

Here is the response.

You have been mislead to believe that every car will pick up 1-1.5 psi boost by adjusting the bypass, that is simply not the case.

Stock pulleys make 8 psi boost at sea level.

If your bypass is out of adjustment you might only have 6.5 psi boost then you can get back to 8 psi boost by adjustment.

The 5% pulley make 1.5 psi over stock pulley or total of 9.5 psi.

No tuning is required if this is the only mod on 93 octane fuel.

Thanks for the responds this helps me to understand the correct psi. Should I add long tube headers with hi flow cats to the 5% no tune package, at this point would I require a tune.
