I bought the ZL1 in December 2012 and took it home and put it in the garage until April. The next April the sticker was 4 months expired. DMV gave me a temp sticker for the trip to the dealer for inspection. Due in April ever since.

You got that right!!! The money means nothing to me. I will not, repeat, will not expose my ZL1 or any of my prime vehicles to salt. Period.

But, I won't go in 4 months early. Typically I'll try to go in a month early before the snow season, or if I miss it then I'll wait until the warm season. My cars hibernate in the winter anyways. BTW, NYS inspections are $37.00.
