Heading home from picking mine up. Put about 150 miles on it yesterday. I can say that i want to put sound deadening back in the trunk.

I don't love the clutch. Will probably make a new thread about it. I got it for well under $50,000.

I got an unbelievable deal on mine also... What a great day for you !! Congrats ! Wait until you start heel to toe in it, it is a blast ! I bought the z/28 LLoyd mat kit on ebay for the front, back seats, and trunk... The carpeted trunk mat is pertty thick and fits perfectly... It definitely cuts down alot on the noise... Also people have commented how nice Chevy did the trunk, lol... All 5 are pretty pricy at around $250, but, well worth it in my opinion, they are high quality mats -- or you can get the trunk mat for around $100..

PS. don't forget to pull the fuse for the NPP exhaust. The car sounds alot better !
PSS. Looks like you're one of the few guys around with a real camera, you can change the focus.. lol..

Here is the next great deal - new 2015 ac ashen gray - #1176 - $48,995 - $27,155 off MSRP!

I tried to buy this one in Oct. but they would not budget below $57k - guess they want it gone!

Supercup,
That's the car that sold me on pulling the trigger on the Z/28.
Test drove that exact car. Friendly Chevrolet is about 1/2 mi from where I work in Dallas.

In the end, I ended up getting the exact same car out in Greenville, Tx.
Got a good deal, but Nothing close to what they are selling this one for.
The big reason I bought the one I did was that it never really sat outside and only the dealership owner and manager were allowed to drive it. The first test drive on my car is when I drove it away from the dealership in Oct.

With that being said.
I test drove this car back in September. This one, a red one, and a white one are all still sitting on the lot.
When I test drove this one, they had to jump start the battery and clean it good enough to where I could actually see out the windows.
I test drove it and it was a blast, sold me on the Z, and I'll always remember that particular test drive!!

Things I did notice about the car.
Tires are cracked. All of them. Whoever gets the car will have to deal with them one way or another.
Driver side wheel and tire look like they took a hard shot to a curb.
That would also explain the fact that the alignment is way off as is the steering wheel. (Way off from center)
Also,
The plastic spoiler or lip (whatever you want to call it) that is in front of the driver side wheel well (where it meets the chin spoiler down low) is jacked up and will need to be replaced.
The (driver side) side skirt had scratches in various places between the the front wheel and rear wheel. Not sure if you could buff them out??

Rest of the car looks ok, it's going to need a really good detail at some point.
Opening the hood, it's about as dirty as my 80k mi daily driver.

At around $48K it will be a good buy for someone. They'll just have to deal with some of the issues this car has. Which really, aren't that bad...

BTW, the Red and White one on the lot were WAY cleaner and looked better taken care of. If you could get them for $48K, you'd REALLY be a winner!!
(Assuming they are still there)

Flowtie,

Interesting to note - glad they would not deal - I bought mine sight unseen from Allstar Chevrolet North in Baton Rouge, LA for $53k - 19 miles on it - sat in the showroom from day they got it. Great to deal with and car was perfect when I got it!

Tried to buy this one as well last year at this exact time. Sales manager was a complete jerk. Instead I bought #995 brand new for $51,995 out the door last April. Still absolutely love the car and drove it yesterday to get groceries.

I got the trunk mat. Wanted to make it a little quieter. I also got dynamate but have not installed it. I wish I would have just gotten the full kit. I will probably order the others soon. Also got the car cover, wicker bill, rock guards and tow hook. None of them are on yet. It wont stay above freezing long enough for me to do anything.

I wish I could drive it... bad winter for us.

I do have a real camera and do know how to set the focus but that was just an iphone 6. I then used photoshop to add a blur. Did not have the camera on the trip. I gave it to my 13 yr old for photography class. Thanks for noticing. Thought it helped the car stand out.

Thanks for all of the info on the AGM at Friendly Chevrolet. I have reached out to Jim on this one, he sent me a video and is putting together a deal for me now.
