In 2010 they were all Synergy Editions. In 2011 it became a color option and was no longer a package

^yep. In 2010 it was just a color. In 2011-2012 it was an SS option. Included special striping, red calipers, red engine cover, SLP style wheels, etc, Only available on certain colors. I think white, red, maybe black.

Right, I was just pointing out that there was special package that came out with the stripes and wheels and stuff that wasn't color related

Only 2011 you could get a SGM on an SS. There are like 1700 total SGM SS cars - and something like 4,400 SGM v6 cars. It gets confusing because there was the Synergy package, and then the color (Synergy Green Metallic).

And yea - she has shoes!? I didn't make it more than half-way down the picture.

Sorry, let me re-phrase that.

Either way, it was just an appearance package. At least it wasn't the Neimen-Marcus colors, lol.

Hey guys. just curious if a spring Watkins Glen ride is in the planning? The girl wants to go this time since I didn't stop talking about it for weeks after last fall lol. Only reason I ask is because she is on call some weekends and wants to avoid having to work when we go.

Seems like we should start planning! I'd like to bring my son down next time - he'd have a blast.

Yeah, I was going to start some discussions around the 1st of March about this, but I guess we can do it now. With it being April 8-9 you can likely count me out. For phuks sake, it's still pretty much winter. They used to do this April 20-ish but they've been moving it up for the past few years. A lot of us are still in storage. On top of that it was insane last year, and we seem to spend about 2 and half of the 3 laps doing 35 mph. I'm for going with just ourselves later in the month or early May. But it's up to you guys. Post up your thoughts. If enough want to go to Opening Weekend I'll set it up.

For new members, "Just us" days are definatly more fun on track, but on Opening Weekend there is also the Buy 2 sessions - Get 1 free (good all summer), the 1/2 price swag from last year, the "all you can eat" for $25 Track Time photos (normally $25 per photo), the fact that all proceeds go to charity, and the camaraderie of some you just don't see any other time.
That being said, if there is snow - it's a No Go! Past years have been pretty successful, charity wise, and they are risking the turnout by moving it ahead. Count me in for now.
