Big problems!!!

So , about 2 -2 1/2 months ago . The dealership rebuilt my engine cause excessive carbon buildup . The engine runs fine but I have one big problem it's been back to the dealership going on four times now . Because of the big bang my front right. The first two times they couldn't hear it ,third time I brought it back they heard it they said it was a bad strut so I ordered two brand-new front struts .. Yesterday they installed and lo and behold the problem is still there now they are telling me it's a bad endlink . After this I am going to lose my mind in demand GM I arbitration get involved if this doesn't fix the problem ..

Bad sway bar endlink, check to make sure the rubber shims are on the new struts, and finally it could be one of your ball joints but unlikely.

Carbon build up on a 3 year old ls3????

Also, I suspect end link was the issue and the strut diagnosis was inaccurate. I've had "big banging" come from a loose end link

The blown strut clunk is common. You have a different problem since your fronts were replaced and the problem persisted.

Keep perfectly good used parts for one, been on here along time on my 2nd gen 5 never heard of a dealer rebuild for carbon build up; rather clean the engine out, and suggest you get a catch can if your smart and if your going to ride the dealerships leg buy them a can of "Leg off" because they are in the business of selling cars not fixing them and so far they DID way more for you than most dealerships would ever do period. SO run a can then take it off if you ever have to go back to the dealership for warranty work as some of us never have used the warranty for Jack......

If your not smart enough to diagnose some easy things yourself you deserve to dump money into the car, for most of us the local tires stores alignment guy can steer you into whatever problems need answered. And most of us avoid the stealerships unless we are looking to buy, or have a pimply 18 yr old lot monkey burn rubber and crash our car. Yes god a end link you could have seen from oh a mile away....as ours are junky end links even compared to what was on a 65 chevy.....

Try upgrading something someday, and if you had that serious of carbon build up in a couple years trade the MOFO in ASAP.... before you get more carbon............ And give the dealership a break a 18yr old does not know well enough what a difference between a strut and end link feel or sound like when he is doing cookies with your Camaro in a Walmart parking lot.........That's a BIG PROBLEM.....
