Thanks for the advice, regardless...

I got my blackout kit from west coast camaro and everything fits like it's supposed to with zero issues of light showing through on edges.

Yeah, I purchased a vinyl set one time (i think it was amazon) and it did not cover the tail light completely either so that set was out. The sets I've purchased from Big Worm have been good... don't know why I tried to change things up this time around lol. I do dislike even a little bit of red showing after overlays are installed.

The kit I have is plastic, I didn't mention that. I didn't want the hassle of doing vinyl overlays, wasn't sure how it would turn out once I wanted to remove them so I went with the plastic. It fits as advertised

I think either way works if you can find a good plastic set that completely covers the tail lights. Removing the vinyl was no problem in the past. No sticky residue left behind and they peeled right off. Send me a link on the set you got please... I'd like to see them in case I ever need to do this again. Thanks man.

No problem bro. This is what I could find on their site. http://www.westcoastcamaro.com/c-112...x?section=-12-
Doesn't seem to have what I ordered from them last year. And now that I think about it I may have mixed some of the kit with different companies per the styling I wanted. Looking at my rear blackouts, I may have to get another set. I see chips and I think light is showing through so my bad. But as for the side markers, fog and headlight covers they are spot on.

Hahaha I did, my oldest son had to do it for me and he got it on the first try...... I watched a video on YouTube on where to mount it and I about lost it. It was the funniest video commentary I have ever heard https://youtu.be/DAhEQnfvM5g

Went for a ride after it was all said and done, SP9 did something to my spine haha floating at 80 and still had half the pedal left. when I would push it, it had the feeling of being in 3rd gear of how it wanted to pull... so so crazy. I had to fix my kicker in the trunk after that escapade, I don't have it anchored very well but with that pull now it'll have to be bolted in.

After watching that video of the install I knew I couldn't even attempt to do it in my situation. I have many hands and abled bodies around the house which is very helpful.....
