Run a CarFax. You won't get the owner's name but you will see all registration records and at least be able to narrow it down to a city/state.

That was a super nice, well modded ZL1. I can see why you would want it back. White Lake sounds like a small town or suburb in MI. Shouldn't have that many ZL1's there...
