** upper, lower or both **

Hi everyone,

I'm planning on ordering a pulley kit but I don't know what to order the upper, lower or go full blown and change both pulleys.
Any ways my goal of this project is to have a daily cruiser and street beast at the same time, I already ordered a thermostat-Afco hx with dual fans- d3 Reservior- Ngk tr7 ix spark plugs- kooks noncatted headers lt.

I really don't want to push the engine to its limit, and I will order a fuel pump booster, I'd 850 injectors and elite engineering catch can.

Any advice will be appreciated.

God bless.

I have just gone lowers, this way if you go up its an easy change with no issues. 3 bolts and reload tune you are done.

If you do upper its a remove the snout, press on new one etc game. There are enough boost possibilities with lowers to not have to deal with smaller top.

With your same mods I have the 9.55 lower. Runs awesome, just added a cam and am going up to a 10 when i am comfortable with the way its set up now.

thanks for the helpful info brother, I was actually considering doing the upper so I would have access to do the solid isolator as well.
I'll probably do both but what size do you advise me to choose.
I was thinking of 2.55 upper, and 8.6 lower.

I went with a Vengeance stage 1 kit 2.55 upper for the benefit of the isolator as well...My future plan is to add a lower 8.66 to stay within the safe zone of the supercharger...So I would agree with your choice of pulley's and the reasoning to include an upper...As you continue to build it will be easiest to change the lower pulley, as many don't want the 2.38 upper due to belt slippage...
