I'm about to purchase a new (130 miles) 2015 Z28 and when I went to the dealer Saturday for the test drive I noticed all four tires have the cracks discussed here. They just got back to me at said these were not covered under any warranty and there's nothing they can do. Now, I am getting the car $27k off sticker so I'm not complaining...but, I don't want to miss an opportunity on getting a brand new set of tires if there's a warranty? And in no means do I expect it to cost the dealership anything as I know they are taking a loss already.

GM pays for warranty not the selling dealer. So yes GM will be out but that dealer wont.
I would talk to other dealers and take pictures of the tires before you buy the car. If GM says its your fault for driving in the cold... your kinda out of luck.

It doesn't get that cold here in Florida to be a factor. The car has a production date of 11/14/14 and was delivered to the dealer shortly thereafter...so basically the dealers had the car for 26 months.

Were yours replaced?

Same thing happened to me. I recently bought a 2015 Z/28 on Jan 21. Drove all the way out to Dallas (4-5hr drive) and found dry rot on all 4 tires...I took the car anyway and then read about the tires not being covered under warranty...that and the car had 2 very noticeable door dings, a scratch in the driver's door that they had put touch-up paint on... and! a cracked front splitter! Needless to say, I was not happy about this on a brand new car with 28 miles on it...

After going back and forth with the dealer for the last 24 hours it appears there's nothing on any warranty that covers these tires. I guess those that have gotten them replaced at no charge are extremely fortunate.

Going to order new tires right away. Any recommendations for street/track use?

or simply have the dealer subtract the cost of a new set of tires from the sale price

Jackpot! I think I found a solution. Located a new silver one with A/C, 154 miles, 4 brand new Trofeo's just installed 4 days ago and they'll include door to door shipping for the same out the door price as the local deal I have. My only draw back is I'm buying sight unseen as the dealership is 1000 miles away.
