Seems kinda silly to compare.
Why not just compare the 2010 Camaro vs the 2010 Mustang?

I do apologize....for confusing you with facts and logic. From now on, I'll just post pretty pictures.

Because 2011's are almost here. The 2011 Mustang will be in production in less than six months. 2010 vs. 2010 is quickly becoming old news, time to move on to the new kids.

The reason why people compare the GT to the SS is because that is in the same category trim wise, and in price range. The Shelby is over $14,000 more... while the camaro is only $4000 over the GT. Get my point lol

1987 Ford Taurus. 87,000 miles on it, regularly and well maintained. Two alternator replacements, air conditioner failure, bizarre problems with electrical system and finally complete and utter transmission failure followed by sale of car to local scrapyard. Worst piece of crap I have ever owned.

1992 Ford Probe. Alternator, front end, AC, power windows and other more minor troubles. Better than above example, though.

1979 Ford Mustang. Any number of issues, but the biggest being when it burst into flame. Interestingly, this also happened to two other Fords I was personally acquainted with from the same era, one an F-100, the other a station wagon who's make and model I cannot remember.

1996 Ford Taurus. See above, total transmission failure prior to 100,000 miles.

Positive experiences, save for one hard-to-kill Fairlane owned by a friend, have all been with Ford trucks, which seem quite a bit more reliable.

I will never own another Ford if I can help it.*sigh*

Rented A Mustang

And I did not like it.
This week when I got to AVIS they gave me a 6CYl Mustang. Now I'm not even talking about the power, just the size & the feel. I rented a 1lt Camaro a while back and the difference was not even close. Cant imagine that getting the GT would change my mind that much. The interior just did not seem that much different from the usual sub compacts my company requires that we rent, seemed like a plastic tub. Maybe the higher models have a nicer interior, but again I was not impressed, felt like I was driving a toy. The past few weeks I had been starting to wonder if mayby I would switch to a Mustang or a Charger, since I am tired of the games my dealer is playing. But I think I'm over that, it's either a Camaro or I'll just keep my current ride....
