hey guys,

I got a 2014 2SS/RS and the day I picked it up I noticed that the AC didn't cool the best. I had heard rumors that they didn't cool as well as some though... I took it back the next few days and told them to look at it while they were in there doing some PDR. 3 days and a loaner they got the door dings fixed but the service closed early

drop off the loaner and pick up my baby. Work was crammed and I was working 90 hour weeks and couldn't make it back up there, first cold spell of the season and now I realize the HEATER won't blow hot, no mater the defrost floor, vents, combo's nothing but cold air..... called the dealership and set up an appointment to have the car looked at again. show up at the shop and they ran the program, they bring the car back up front and tell me I have heat.

They were HALF correct the drivers side blew nice and warm but the passenger side blew cold still it late 3 hours later I decided to go home cause all the service writer could do was loudly count down the minutes till he was home with a cold beer in his hands.

any how drive home and grateful that I have some heat to take the chill out of the car. get home and park it... the next morning, colder than hell and NO HEAT

this morning the control unit was completely off and would not even turn on. NO power (I took a vid to show to the service tech) WTF? has anyone else experienced issues with the climate control system in their Gen 5's?

straight and to the point facts.

AC - driver side blows warm passenger blows somewhat cool
HEAT - drivers blows somewhat warm (only felt with hand on the vent) and the passenger blows ice cold.

Interesting. I'm at the dealer at this moment to have my Visor replaced due to the airbag label.

As I return to my car after the 5min swap, I go to set my temp and fan speed as it's too hot. I noticed no display change on the screen. I also notice it did not turn down the blower.

As I continue messing with it, none of the buttons or controls changing anything. The stack is dead. No lights, no control, and no heated seats.

They are looking at it now. I can confirm it was working when I parked in the service lane as I turned down the heat on the seats.

Will let you know what I find.

It actually went back to the dealership this morning and I have heat, grant it's not right the temp dial is all the way to max cool and for warm air. They ordered a part and should be here I'm a week them thy are going to take my car back install ans give me a loaner. I will still send you all the info here in a few mins! Thanks for everything.

Mine locks up once and awhile. pull the HVAC fuse on the drivers side fuse panel and put it back in will wake it up.

I own a 2015 RS Camaro, for almost 4 years now, never had an issue with anything until now. About a month or so ago, I noticed my air wasnt getting COLD like it used to, so I assumed it would probably need recharged at some point. Well now that the weather has gotten colder, I noticed the heat is not there either, just cold air. I have checked the coolant and everything is good there, does anyone have any suggestions to what the problem might be, thank you in advance.
