Wanted to say that I hope GM produces this car. I am old (59) and remember well the days when we had both Mustangs and Cameros roaming the streets. Those were great days and anyone who likes muscle cars is rooting for GM to come through this time.

I have not had the chance to drive the new Camero but I have seen some and must say they are pleasing to the eye (being old, I would have voted for a retro version of the late 60's Camero if I were King).

Silly ford fan it's CAMARO.....

Pricing.
Let's all think about this for a bit. Start off at 35k. The price of the LSA engine alone is 10-12k. (On my phone, will check that later). So that right there puts the price in the 46-48k range. We are obviously not just adding an engine. So lets subtract the price of the LS3 and L99. Thats about 7k. That drops us back down to the 39-41k range. Add price for a few body changes, badging, marketing....etc. all the other stuff involved in adding a new model to a body line.

Its safe to say pricing will be around 44-46k?

Just wishful thinking though.........
Maybe you will finally get a GREEN z/28????

I like how an upgraded v6 was mentioned, but very few people seem to have noticed. I would take the Z28 over any of the others any day, but the v6 as it is now is AMAZING. Imagine what it would be like if they actually did upgrade it. Would it possibly beat a Mustang GT??? Think about that...

Please, please, please don't let it be too much for me to ask for a convertible Z28, black with possibly red stripes or silver with black stripes and i would pull a coach houston...

Not so patiently waiting, the Wonderchild

Glad to see the Z28 is finally on the way. However, I am stuck in the same boat that others have mentioned earlier. Do I go ahead and keep the order for my 2SS (Still somewhere in allocation Hell) or tell the dealer to apply my deposit to a Z28 as soon as it's available?

The problem is, I refuse to pay over MSRP for any vehicle and I have a funny feeling that the Z28 w/ be priced several thousand over MSRP for quite sometime.

With MSRP mark up, That will put my wait for the Z28 probably at least 3 years away.

Holy Be-Gezus!!!!!......Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.

Kinda disappointing you would be looking at trade in value for a car you don't have yet.
Well not everyone wants to throw a 100,000 mile warranty out the window. Also a lot of people say they are going to keep their car until they die but few do. It's like how no one says they are going to divorce their wife when they get married but half do.

Wait 12 to 24 months to really confirm the car will be made. Anything else is 100% rumor and speculation.
