Dexos 2 xw-30. Gives you better protection above 220F. Harder to find, but Amazon works.

My dealer told me to use Molbile 1 5w-30, so I do in the '14. I check it before each outing which is about once a month. I use Valvoline Racing Oil 20w-50 in the '67. There is no way to check it, because it is a sealed system. At high RPM's, the pressure will blow oil past the dipstick.

Depends on your application, work from there.

In Sledge's case, the overall application calls for Group IV oil with a lil' extra zinc added for good measure.

Nothing is written in stone here, because the requirements of a member from Australia, to one in Alaska, to a garage queen in a humid garage in NY, to a track weekend hero in PA, some bone stock, some not, all differ.

The question is just too vague.

Gotta love revived old oil threads.

M1 for me and Wix, M1 or K&N Filters (mainly for the nut on the end) in all vehicles and Harley.

Will be trying out Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30 with a WIX Oil Filter next in my car. I wanted to get the Ultra Platinum, but didn't want to pay $60 dollars for 6 quarts on Amazon. So Wal-Mart offered the better deal for the Platinum at $30 dollars for 6 quarts.
