18s on Z/28

I'm very seriously looking at trading in my 1LE for a 2015 Z/28 and I'm also about to purchase some 18x11 wheels (These ones https://www.apexraceparts.com/wheels...c-7-wheel.html). Will they fit over the brakes? Thanks!

Its impossible to tell without buying them. Or test fitting them. Getting 18s to fit on the Z/28 isn't easy and the clearance is very small so you have to do it in person.

Thanks, is it something a small spacer could fix or are the brakes really that big?

The EC7's do have a lot of caliper clearance but I'd say it's still a long shot.

Isn't someone running a set of 18" Forgelines on here?

It seems to me 18' wheels should work. The Z/28 was designed for speed and power. GM engineers should know better to allow for bigger wheels.

Yeah that is me! And it is very tight and I would test fit any 18 you have before you buy if you can.

I am not following your logic here.

I'm just saying if some dude wants to add wider wheels, he should be able to do so without any major modifications.

Did you see the 19.5 X 10.5 rims? Folks run them on the 1le. Also, there is a 19 x 11 but it's claimed to be a street wheel - not sure why. I had ec7s on my 135i and was happy with them. I'm gonna call them on Monday to talk about the arc 8, ec7 and ps7s for my Trofeos. I did the math last night and they should fit?
