My last convert was a white 1990 LaBaron GT... I had it until the day I bought my Camaro and then it had to go.

A 2006 Suzuki Aerio. Had it for 10 years and 165,000 miles until it was killed by a drunk driver about a week before Christmas 2014 I kept it shiny too (damn single stage paint always fading and all)

On single stage paint, it always seemed like red oxidized the quickest.

More elbow room, a back seat, a real trunk, about 140 more horsepower (I had a base Sky with 170hp) and better highway fuel mileage.

I am probably the newest member, as of this minute, my first Camaro ever. At 65 years of age I have owned many very nice cars yet not a Camaro or a convertible. I actually fly up to Dayton, Ohio this coming Thursday morning to pick mine up. A 2014 2LT/RS, Ashen Gray Metallic with ONLY 4,454 miles on the clock. This car was part of stable of 15 vehicles one owner has. I have told my self that I will not spend thousands of dollars in modifications as I have in my last car, one that I still own and drive. 1996 Impala SS, came factory with the LT1, automatic with 308 gears. 96 was the last year of the big B body cars by Chevrolet. I took mine and tore her apart to the ground and built it the way I wanted it and I am thinking the way Chevrolet should have done it. With the body off I have completely redone the drive train and suspension. The LT1 was bored .030, 308s removed and GM 373 installed. Transmission was another story in it's self. The automatic was removed and the vehicle was professionally engineered and designed to handle a six speed. I have spent over 50K on this jewel and she is something fun to drive. Anyways.... decided at my age I really didn't need all the speed and I really needed a Camaro before the good Lord calls me to the big garage in the sky.
