I loved surveying!

As far as car shows and cruise ins... Most of you are close, come to the Tipp City mum festival on Friday. We will be there for sure. Hopefully with the SS if we get it back by then. It is supposed to be a big to-do. Look for my SIM SS or the BBM IROC. (bright blue metallic)

Haha, it's not architectural surveying, it's some sort of college planning class I had to take.

Wife's Reaction to the Camaro!

Well,

Hello all, I have not been on much the last few days since I have been sittign on the couch with the wife or just enjoying having her around. I will be on regularly again unless I ma out of town, but then Ginger will be here.

Her reaction... all my worries about her reaction were for naught as many of you said she would love it. She drove it to Zeibart to get the underbody, sound proofing and Diamond Gloss applied and got out like a little child with excitement. SHE LOVES IT! We had a neighbor take pictures of when she got home with it so I will post them when I get them.

The Diamond Gloss looks perfect. you will have to see to believe. If it holds up like they warranty it for, it is well worth the $. Sound proofing helped significantly too. They state 10dbs but all I will say, it was immediately noticeably quieter.

Post again soon.

I was just going to look up the Mum Festival. I remember you posted about it a ways back. We may have to go to this one.

Hi Paul! So relieved to hear from you! I am so glad you loves the car! You are such a great hubby! Can't wait to see your car. I'm still on the fence about the Diamond Gloss. I sure am getting tired of keeping this car polished, though. It's wearing me out!

me too and can you ask darin the pros and cons of the muffler delete please. i want more sound but can afford the $1200 borla cat back I want right now. I get the muffler delete done for like $200...

anyone else with any thoughts? From what Ihave heard it sounds bad a$$.

EDIT... called, no answer, lets see if?when he calls back. I emailed yesterday morning, no reply. I am less than impressed with the dealership body shop. The dealership sales dept. was great. So far the body shop has much to be desired.

EDIT 2... ITS DONE! He "claims" he emailed me yesterday at 6:45 but I didn't get it. I am assuming he did b/c he had the time and everything... Cool beans, its done!!!

EDIT 3... not sure if I am going to bring it to the mum festival or not now though... late breaking news is the wife may have to work overnight on Thursday and where I may go hang out while she works is no place for a 2010 Camaro to be parked. Last night I was there and two women were fighint with this guy and they were rolling around on someones car!!!

LOL - I still need to get up to Col. to see some friends who haven't seen my car yet. I'll keep that in mind when I do! Glad to hear you're liking OSU!

I kind of figured you guys were just spending time together - and with the car! If she'd had any other reaction, I'd have to wonder...

I called my dealer's body shop every other day. Fortunately, they were as nice about it as my sales rep. And yes, I got the car back Monday night, with the correct color of red!

SOOOO... I got the car back today. Number one, I had to drive it in the rain, NOT HAPPY! So I took it home and immediatly gave him a nice bath. The front bumper repair was done 100% to my satisfaction. They actually fixed the HUGE rock chip by the mail slot and the two scuff from when I tried to pull up on the ramps and they were too high at no charge! The stripes actually look better as the one blemish has been fixed. A+ to the first shop.... Now the dealer who had to repair the peeling paint gets a C. #1 they told me they would remove the bumper and fix the bad area then reclear the whole bumper. They didn't, they "burnt" the clear in. WTF does that mean. It looks good so we shall see the durability. #2, I can't tell if it matches perfect or not. No sun to test it. I think it does but I will have to get some other opinions. I think I can see a blotch of paint where it may not be 100% match, or I may be nuts. #3 when they removed the bumper, the corner by the wheel, the sharp pointed area, must have hit the ground b/c the paint was missing from it when I got it back. Kris wanted me to take it back. Screw that, a dab of touch up and its fixed. No one would ever know. #4 they never told me it was done. I had to call them today about 2:00 and they said it was done at noon today... gee thanks for the call guys! So, all in all the dealership body shop gets a C. The dealership itself still gets an A. Other than tossing my build sheet by mistake, every thing has been perfect.

I am so glad to have Rene` back! Now all we need is sun! See anyone who is coming at the mum fest on Friday. We will be sporting a classic 1998 Honda Civic!
