Brembo brake service questions

I need to change the pads and rotors on my SS with the base Brembo brakes. I see people saying to ditch the factory lines at the calipers for stainless. Is there much improvement to make this required? I plan on using Alien rotors and Hawk yellow pads when I do get these changed. Thanks for your input

If you don't already have one get a vacuum pump and after replacin the rotors/pads do a complete bleed. Makes a major diff and if after you still need more then put in the stainless...but I've read that unless you are trackin the car weekly no need...spend $$ on makin more power! peace out...

I track a bit, so added stainless lines last year. Pedal felt a bit firmer under hard pressure. For the cost (@$120), it was worth it for me. Easy swap, you can do it with the bleed in about two hours.
