BMR Lowering Spring w/ ACS T4 Splitter Clearance
Have a question, does anyone run BMR 1.25 lowering springs with a ACS T4 splitter? Would like to know how the clearance is from the ground. Have a nice deal for these springs that I may purchase and would like to get some feedback on the clearance. I also picked up the new Michelin pilot 4s tires 275/35 front and 295/30 rear which is another reason why I am looking at these so I can fill that gap in the wheel well. Plus my driveway has an angled curb which means if fly over it I'll scrape the splitter easily.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Again 1" BMR Springs
![]() Does it sit lower yes... Does the front splitter stick forward a bit... Yes. Does it make inclined transitions difficult yes.... Is it worth it??? I think it looks great. I am glad I didn't do the 1.25 inch. I think the 1" has been perfect, not to mention my rear driveshaft angles stayed more in-line. I can still align inside of factory specs without other suspension parts. If you like to jack the front up with a single jack, you will need to drive up on 2x4's or something first, just to get the low profile jack under the front.... I now have race ramps. Make sure you get the 6.6degree approach.

That might actually might be the way to go, only lower it about an inch. Forgot to mention that I have the factory gfx package also. 1.25 may lower it too much but any other feedback will be helpful.

The only issue is really that front point, you know the type of roads your normally drive on. The car is my wife's daily driver, she is extremely careful and does her best to pay attention to entrance's and exit's. She scraped the front tip the other day leaving a parking lot to get to the road. You are only talking about a 1/4" lower... But at some point there is a limit. We do have the extra weight of the LSA in the front and the extra weight of the ZL1 rear diff in the back. Not sure if that squats her down a 1/4" but it is worth noting and may have the car a little lower than a typical 1" drop.
FWIW those pictures were taken before both of those mods.

I've got the Ebay knockoff of that splitter with 1" BMR lowering springs.
It's perfect, IMO. It's a good aggressive look, great handling, and I can still make it up my driveway.

Thanks for some feedback, I'm looking at the eibach and bmr 1" springs. Wonder if the stock springs are the same on both the coupe and vert.

The BMR springs are significantly stiffer than the stockers, though. To the point that the stock shocks feel slightly underdamped--but not horribly so by any means.

Have the ASC splitter, and never had an issue prior to dropping about 1" all around with CO's. Only had the CO's on for about two weeks, too busy to drive around much, but short of curbing (which I avoid by backing in almost always), haven't had an issue yet....
