Had a great time last weekend. 1st time at Buttonwillow raceway. Was on a bit of a learning curve. But improved on each run. |

Last run of the day. Respectable 2.07 on the clock. Biggest thing about that run how things can go south when someone does not lift enough for the pass. Mustang vs Mazda. Overall lesson learned is to upshift more often to 4th gear when I can instead of running 3rd at the top of the power band rpms. Once again great instructions with Rich on board. |

2:09:15 Virginia International Raceway
Took almost 6 seconds off my previous personal best of 2:15:10. I was just blown away when I saw my lap times! I believe this lap could have been in the 2:08's because I had to slow down for a SE30 BMW in turns 14 - 16. It's really hard to get a lap where you're not navigating traffic at some point. Ventura 1LE, was that Porsche stopped - or slowing in T 9 ? This was your second video about the 8 minute mark.

He was totally stopped on top of turn 4 in a bad spot. I think he ran out of gas. If you notice the flagman at turn 3 did flag but the turn 4 flag was not shown. The following lap the Porsche was limping back to the pits. The driver did not speak up on the download. It could have been more a problem thankful he did not get ran over. I honked to get the flagman to get his head out of ass.

Last run of the day at Big Willow. I had tons of fun. I need to invest in camber plates. Still running a stock setup and street alignment. Finished of the outer edges of my Hankook RS3 Gen2 tires. Bummer they are super good tires. Got to looking at buying again but not available. Going with the Nitto NT555 G2. |

Hey Ventura, I'm thinking of hitting up Big Willow later next month. How fast did you manage to get on that straight?
