Pretty much narrowed it down to Toyo Proxes 4 Plus and the Nitto Motivo. I was only looking at ultra high performance all season tires. There were other options but they got expensive. The Toyos have a 50,000 tread life and the Nittos have a 60,000 and were cheaper so that's what I chose (315/35/20 & 275/35/20). I ordered from discount tire direct. This site is good and seems to have better deals idk you tell me. rear: $224.99 front: 217.69 free shipping! and they took off $40 at checkout (promotion or something?) and Nitto has a $70 rebate so for a set of 4 WIDE tires I am paying $775.36. My car is gonna look sweet with the new rims and 315s. I don't track my car and drive in the wet/cold and tired of these summer tires being useless in those conditions. Plus my LS3 is just bolt-ons and tune no extreme power so I should have no traction problems with a 315 all season tire in the back.

So I've never driven a car with really wide tires how should I expect the difference from my stock rims/pirelles? Will my turning radius for example in parking lots be decreased by going from the 245s in the front to 275?

If you have these tires what are your experiences with them? Also how much should I fill them. This chart says Max 50 psi. So is that when cold?

Also, do I need to recalibrate speedometer for these new sizes? What about traction control/ABS?? I always drive with those on so I need them to be working perfectly.

Yo! Whats up Homeless! Today and tomorrow are the days you should check your tire pressure. We both know its gonna be sweltering here in Philly these next few days so the pressure you fill to can only go down from here!

Even though the manufacturer states those tread life, I dont think its a mileage warranty. There are only a few manufacturers that actually have mileage warranties for staggered fitments and even then, it is usually only half of the miles. Just be mindful of that and enjoy

Nitto Motivo's are horrific on the back of my 2013 SS when the ground is even the least bit wet. There is absolutely no / zero traction.... dangerous. The are lasting longing than stock, but I have to drive like a granny in the ran... even light dew.

Thumbs down Issue with GPS Hardware on 2013 SS Convertible

I'm having an issue with the GPS sensor with my OnStar (I dont have a nav system, but all have the GPS for the OnStar Quidance). It appears to have become lose then disconnected. i lost directional signal, but when open and shutting the drunk screen for the convertible roof, it would work if I let is snap back... This worked for a while, but now if must be total lose, disconnected, etc. However, I don't know where it is exactly ... other than being towards the rear, behind the seat, near the trunk. Has anybody encountered this????

Hey Homeless,

Good for you. No matter what the reason for the stretched rear tires, I didn't like the look. Could hardly wait to replace them with 315 MPSS

NT555 G2's are the way to go, guys. Outstanding tire for the rear on these rides.

I just got a set of Nitto NT05r just waiting for the weather to warm up and the roads to get cleaned up to see how they hook. They are 315/35/17. No more camaro for me though.

Good to know, I just picked a full set of them, only down side is they don't make a 285, so 275 up front, and 315 in the rear. Car is still on storage insurance due to Michigan weather. I have read and heard so much great stuff on these tires. The price wasn't bad either. I cant wait to try them by hitting some of our local round-a-bouts.

I also usually run about 34-36 cold

I'm running Nitto Invo's on my car and they are quiet and smooth on the road.
275's on the front and 315's in the rear. Love the look and the car handles great even in the rain which isn't very often.
