What supporting mods will I need...

Disclaimer: I'm still new here so i may have missed/overlooked a post similar to this*

Anyway, I have a 13 SS with a few basic mods (cai, axle-back exhaust). I am adding headers and high flow cats for certain and potentially changing the cam and adding a supercharger or a centrifugal supercharger. I would like to know what I would have to upgrade to keep my car from blowing up basically. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

What kind of power numbers are you looking to make. For what use Drag Strip, Track Racing, Daily Driver?
There are a bunch of open variables to this question. Also are you Manual or AUTO?

Should've specified that, its an auto trans and its more of a weekend / nice weather car. It gets driven hard on the streets and such. Honestly not sure what kind of numbers but im assuming it'll be able to reach 500s with a super and cam + the other mods that I have.

You'll hit 500rwhp no problem with that set up haha.

Most things are subjective, so you're bound to get quite a few responses and many of them could be different. Take your cam for example; you could order just a standard BTR cam kit for ~$800 and it work fine. However, for added insurance and peace of mind, a lot of members recommend upgrading things like the oil pump, timing chain, LS2 dampener, etc. There is very little that isn't obvious that needs to be upgraded, most things outside of that are just recommendations that help promote longevity of the build. I don't know diddly squat about forced induction though, so I can't help you there

You really need to speak with a vendor or performance shop in your area and discuss with them what you want to do...They are more inline to advise you the best bang/balance for your buck's...You could get a recommendation for a cam, but that cam may not be compatible with a supercharger...Especially if you intend to do the upgrades in stages vs doing everything at once...Also you will have to consider fueling, cooling, etc...

I still remember my first post asking this for my 2010. Check out the signature and my garage on here. Good luck!

Thanks for all the feedback, i guess it would be smarter to just ask the person installing the mods what I should do. Just nervous and didn't want to break anything!
