Thanks everyone for all the positive comments
I drove her to the office today which is about a 20 mile drive...WOW, what a blast! It's going to be hard jumping back into my truck tomorrow after having a day of fun in this thing. |

1-5k mi used are $44k-$47k all day long
Untitled gets tricky with dealer incentives though if you're able to find that white elephant it's still worth no more than $50-53k today.

I don't think the dealer ever waxed this car! I just spent an hour and a half waxing it using two brand new white 16" x 16" micro fiber towels to wipe off the wax and they were both completely filthy by the time I finished. I cannot believe how much crud was in the paint. I'll give it a week or two and wax her again.

Hopefully you performed a quality 3 step wash, clean and clay bar to remove the dirt before applying the wax.

I did not use a clay bar...I've never used one on any of my cars. I did wash, dry with microfiber towel and used "high tech paint sealant" by Blue Ribbon. This is what my detail guy has used on all of my cars/trucks for years. I will say the car looks much better and is smooth as glass now.
I also have a product called "purple haze" which waxes, glazes and compounds...I was going to put that on next. Does anyone have any different recommendations? |

Using a clay bar pulls the metallic particles and dirt out of the paint/clear coat, especially ones you cannot see.
If "your detail guy" has never used one, I would find another as this is a major step in detailing correctly.
