Thanks to advice from many members of this forum, I rented a car and drove to Pittsburgh, PA from Baltimore, MD. About 350 miles. (The laternative was to trailer the car home.) Drove the Camaro home on back roads to get some of the break-in mileage behind me. Great drive home, (except for the first hour through Pittsburgh's hood), including a stop at the Shanksville, PA memorial site.

I drove 760 miles one way, Albany, Oregon to Salmon, Idaho. After waiting for my order for 4 months, I found this one online and went for it. Sure happy I did. My original order in now due for delivery on 10/1/2009. (2-day trip. Rented a car one way to get there and drove her home)

My son and I drove 178 miles one way. Picked car up with 3 miles showing on the odometer after an 8 week wait. Excellent Dealership, did everything I asked and even let me drive it to the gas station so that they could pay for the first fill up of 91 octane. Car averaged 22.6 mpg at end of trip home. Love this car and the great people at Larry Fannin Chevrolet in Morehead, Kentucky. They have been in business for 60 years and I now understand why. Thanks Matt and Larry.

flew roughly 1200 k to victoria british columbia, on vancouver island canada, just to buy from a nice guy who honoured my fleet discount and the gm loyalty discounts and gm card savings of just over 1300 dollars the trip back was icing on the cake. here is a link to some cool pictures from the trip
