Best option to ship 4 wheels and tires?
Looks like taping a front and rear together as 1 package through usps is the cheapest if its under 70lbs? (Under $200) Whats your experience?

I received tires shipped to me in this manner, but I have never shipped a set to anyone...Check UPS and FedX...I don't think USPS will ship them unboxed...

As a hobby and for side income I buy, fix and resell high end mountain bikes. I've shipped tons of them with https://www.shipbikes.com/. Its essentially just a discounted shipping rate through their volume discount with fedex. I have shipped hundreds of items not bike related through the same company. I have shipped at least a dozen wheel and tire sets through them with really cheap rates. Depending on the size of wheel and or tire, I use foam or a combination of foam and cardboard and use shipping wrap and completely wrap the entire thing. I've done 4 piece shipments without issue. Usually easier for the carrier to handle individually as well. Just a thought for ya as I've never been able to beat the prices through these guys not once with any carrier.

You could also consider Greyhound shipping. Very reasonable rates.
