You guys are going to HATEEEE ME!!!

Car had an original TPW of 9/28...well i called and it went on the line TODAY instead for an ahead of schedule TPW!!!

NEXT WEEK DELIVERY!? YEEEEE

I wonder if I changed by address from Metro-Detroit to "North Windsor, Ontario" if that would help. Not hatin' you my friend...the sooner you get yours built, the sooner we all do.

ok.. guys tom. will be over the hump of this week.. anybody planning on cking with the Viz to see if we moved up to 3400 or going to wait till Fri.???

I am definitely checking with him tomorrow. I think most of us should be 3400 tomorrow with builds beginning monday. As I am typing about cars being built next week a chill ran down my whole body. Wow, no excitement there.

TPW-9/28/2009

My dealer's inventory manager(great guy), told me the car should be ready for pickup during the 3rd week of October. All I have to say is, I CANT WAIT. This is really killing me. I just prefer not to even talk about this camaro until then because the more I bring it up, the more I think about it, and the more frequently I check this website for camaro updates. I check this site religiously.

It's starting to become an obsession. And I know that's bad. But omfg, the car is so beautiful. But I must remember, it's JUST A CAR, isn't it? A means of transportation, and nothing more. It won't bring in anymore money for me, it won't give me a bigger house, although it will increase the chicks, but beyond that, it just gives you status. Me, I'm turning this car into something else.

Anyway, all I have to say is I cant wait until the 3rd week of October gets here,...

3rd week of October...that is unreal. I mean, I have been dreaming of this car since I was 16 (1985) when my dad put the stop to my purchase of a 69 SS that I had found. Since that day, I have wanted that 69, but when I saw the 5th Gen., that was it--I wanted it bad. Now, just a few weeks away. I wonder if the delivery to Nashville will be faster than the 3rd week of Oct. Not long guys...

Tell me about it! Yeah, the dealer's inventory manager tells me the cars are actually built pretty quickly and quote "are really getting dished out" because of GM's increase in production. But he tells me, based upon what he's seen in the ordering process, it generally takes about 2 weeks and a couple of days for the cars to get delivered to the dealership. I'm literally ripping my hair out waiting for this car. Can you imagine the amount of chicks you'd pull in this car?! rofl!

But what sucks is, some people's cars have been sitting at the railyard longer than typically expected. I just hope and pray, mine actually gets there when the guys says it, and I get financed for the car, and Im good to go! My note is going to be like 480(perfect), and my insurance is going to run at 224 to start, and 224 every month after. Everything would be perfect.

The only downside which makes me nervous is the tax, title,and license; I think the taxes in New Orleans are like 9% percent. I have 7 thousand saved, which I was going to give them for a downpayment, but I forgot about taxes. I got the car for MSRP, so I came up to $32,935(?), they already have 1,000 downpayment, so I was going to come back with 3,500, which will be a 4,500 downpayment and then the remaining money of the 7,000 use for taxs, title, and license. I hope they finance me, I mean, my 3 credit scores are around 730-740ish, and I am coming to the table with 10 percent of the msrp. Everything is in place.

Now we wait...........the killer part. I think what's killing me more than anything is wondering IF Im gonna get the car when it gets there. I mean, would they waste they're time and order a car for someone they know they can't finance?:bangdesk:

Well now is not a bad time to start getting preapproved. I already did but must reapply in the first or second week of Nov. because I can't fly home until the 21st to go get it. So you should start calling insurance and credit in once you get a vin# that way you can get the exact estimates.

I wonder what makes them pick the next sequence of orders and why we wouldnt all be 3400 as of today?

geminidreams- Any idea once we go 3400 how long it takes to get to 3800 with a vin (looks like 9-11 days) and then another 10-14 for delivery?
