lol. are you going to keep your z28 stock if it ever comes out? Why not buy an SS and blow it the way you want it?

I'd keep my 5th gen Z28 stock and build my 4th gen Z28 up to race. so I can keep my warranty on the 5th gen.

Then buy your SS and build your Z up more with the money you save?

This became a loaded question now that we know the Auto is faster than the Manual.

Did you see racing stripes on either the red or yellow RS we just saw?

I want an SS/RS, but I wouldn't want my car badged RS because I want people to know its the top dog Camaro. An RS can be either a V6 or a V8. I want an SS with RS uprages but not badged RS (mabey a little to specific).

this is a rather fickle question....

but if you choose the SS with an RS appearance package is your car badged with the RS or SS? Or does that only apply to an LT which does not have badging.

I know it sounds stupid..my dad grew up with an SS and I have never been big on badging, but if the V8 must be badged, id rather have the SS

I went for the L99 SS/RS, but would rather see what the price ranges are going to be.

Well I will have to do a couple of things. I want to see pics of the SS, and prices. Right now I want the LT/RS. It's the closest thing to concept, and I really like the wheels, deeper tail lights, and spoiler. (apparently the spoiler only comes on the RS?)

because it's still way more fun to drive. i don't get all the hype about "being fast", most people don't drive on a track anyway, and the speed limit on the highway is 70 or something.

Because you have a better chance at squeezing a few extra MPG out of manual than you will out of an auto. That leaves more room for "playing" with each tank of gass.

Besides, it keeps today's kids from stealing your car. Most of them can't drive a stick.
