Looks like a low-rider paint job.

The matte black against yellow would look bad except that that is a very similar pattern to what Dodge uses. Just saying.

Definitely Plasti dip test it like others are saying. That's what I did with my hash marks before I bought the vinyl.

Impressive - way out of my league. When I got bored in the garage I put stripes on the lawn tractor.

I vote just go ahead and paint it if you like the idea.

I think it looks awesome! Of course it may look totally different after you do it. Let us all know how it turns out!

Ive always been a Chevy guy....but admittedly, the idea is based on the dodge hockey stripe or whatever the hell they call it.

If I decide to give it a go, I will try the plastidip 1st and I will post pics for sure.

Thanks for all the replies. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but all input is welcome, so long as it isn't delivered rudely. Who knows...I might get it on there and hate it myself. At the moment, My opinion is biased being as I am the one who laid the stripes down, so its always good to get perspective from the outside looking in. Just kicking around ideas to make her stand out from the crowd.

Thanks for the input. Not looking to have my ego stroked or my nuts sucked or whatever your quote said. Just kicking around ideas and looking for honest opinions. I can understand how youd catch that lowrider vibe from it.

Thanks for the tip. Deff will mask off the rear of the car and drape some tarp over the front at the very least.
