Either way OP, there are plenty of CARB certified superchargers. Why not pick one of those over the LSA?

Pull an LSA from a wrecked ZL1 along with the vin and take it to the ref to have it smog as a ZL1

I have a guy in the SoCal area that passed me with my turbo and no cats.
