for me, with these new synthetic oils - I do both my oil and my tire rotations at 5000 miles- religiously - its not that hard and well worth it on many fronts. what I HATE about checking my oil is how frickin hard it is to READ the level on the dipstick on my L99. why can't someone make a dipstick a different color than the damn oil! anyone know of an aftermarket dipstick I can put in that is easier to see? maybe I am getting old - but this car is so hard to tell where the damn oil level is!! Back to the top - 2 quarts left out of 6 - this motor will have issues - no doubt about it! CHECK YOUR OIL on a REGULAR basis!
