I'm about to open my dash up now and test this out. Will let you know what happens.

Are you having the same issue with low volume and having to crank the head unit to max?

That worked! Just move it from Amplified Factory Audio Connection to Standard Factory Audio Connection. Sounds great now! It's definitely much louder.

Now my question is, when we decide to put in an afternmarket amp, do we switch back to Amplified Factory Audio or keep it at Standard Factory Audio?

And another thing that I noticed this fixed... my "'Mute" button function on my steering wheel controls wasn't working with the PAC kit before. Now it does.

Yeah very misleading. But with my radio on and I swap back and forth between the two inputs you can clearly hear the sound difference

Nope. I'm sure you'll prob have some distortion at max volume, but it's already loud and clear enough that I won't go that far lol. There's a little static sound going on right now, but I'm guessing that's cuz I have my radio out while I cut the trim down some. I'm sure once I everything back in it'll be fine

I wish there was more info on this. We should write a sticky for others that might want to go the PAC dash kit route.

In all honesty I read the included install manual a million times and saw nothing about this
