The green camaro returns
Good afternoon everyone.
I just wanted to make a quick post about the return on my beloved synergy green Camaro. In October of last night (after replacing my head gasket at 200k) the LLT motor failed on my return trip home from a nice joyride (found out that a rod bearing had failed). Rather than simply fixing what was broke and rebuilding decided to buy a new replacement engine (it was actually cheaper than outright rebuilding lol), and while I was at replaced cats, o2 sensors, alt, starter, gaskets, etc. And now that almost 6 months (5.5 months sitting under the car cover in front of my house). The Camaro returned home this pass weekend and finally had a chance to drive the old girl, felt good to drive it again and be back in the family. Spring is here and hope too see everyone at your local car meet/show.

Welcome home, I like the green now more than when it debuted. Was the replacement a chevy refurbished or new crate?

200k miles. Wow. Your dollar per mile is way down. You sure got your $$$ worth.

That is clean! Looks great. Did you do the engine swap yourself? Or a shop/dealer?
