Drag Wheels Question?
So a little backround info. Car is a 2010 SS M6 and is lowered 1.4 inches. Mods are bolt ons and TSP cam and it puts down 470 to the wheels. I ran the car a few tires last season on street tires. 60 foots were awful and I kept getting wheel hop which did not help. I plan on installing BMR toe and trailing arms to help with the wheel hop and then going with 18 inch wheels for the rear with some drag radials.
http://www.sears.com/oe-performance-...Q&gclsrc=aw.ds I found those wheels that a decent priced and from what I have found in the forums they seem to fit fine. As for tires i dont know what to get i figured i cant go wrong with M/T's or Nittos. Also could i fit the 305/40/18 M/T et streets on those rims? I feel as 9.5 inches wide si too small but then again if i got the 275/45/18 the heights is only 27.8 inches which might set off ABS and stabilitrack errors. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful on which tires or wheels to go with. Thanks Last edited by BandRcAMARO; 03-21-2017 at 09:18 AM. |

1. Looks like they would fit, check the sticky I put together.
2. M/T better than NT05R. 3. You should install offset diff bushings will help keep the CV joints in your axles alive. I got mine from Hendrix. 4. For the shorter tire you might need to pull the ABS fuses, I'm not 100% sure. Replicas + NT05R 305/45/18 ![]() Hendrix Engineering Offset Bushings:
