My first car was the Chevy corsica (same platform as Beretta) except 3.1L multi port v6 and 4 speed auto. Was very quick for a v6 and could spin the tires with ease

1981 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Holiday bought in 1987 when I turned 17. Pretty rare car. I have a pic somewhere.

I soooo wanted one of those Barettas when they came out.

Head gasket blew. Next 2 gm cars blew head gaskets too. 95 lumina and 95 gran prix. Same motor.
The Camaro is my first gm product since then, hoping for better luck haha
Man your 1986 Buick Riviera looks like its from the future! Look awesome!

This a pic of a black one, as I can't find my old car pics.

A piece of shit 86 Datsun pickup truck that was slammed and had a very trendy lowrider style paintjob. The rear wall of that cab and the front wall of the bed were cut out and had been welded and bolted together in such a way that it wouldn't crack. in the center of the bed there was literally a bed surrounded by a wall of speaker which was all covered so it kinda looked like a slammed van.

Evidentially it had a reputation of being cool and worth stealing because somebody stole it while I was in class and the school SRO chased him for many miles until he wreck it. Come to find out, it was one of my good friends. So the SRO asked me if I wanted to say anything to him. So I walked over to cop car and yanked him out and started beating his ass into oblivion. Cop got a little mad at me but understood and let me go.

I ended up getting an '86 Honda CRX and droppin it straight on its nutts and got some player wire 13x7 and put in switches.

Come to find out, somebody wanted the wheels and stereo more than me so they stripped that car too

So then I just went out and bought a brand new 99 Dakota and left for the military soon after

My first car was a 1984 Pontiac Grand Prix. It was white with a maroon half vinyl roof. It had a Buick 231cu V6 that was super slow, and a maroon velour interior!
Closest pic I could find:

Nice! my 3rd and 4th car had switches in them. Did everything my self.
84 Monte Carlo and 79 Malibu... I regret cutting up the Malibu.. they are pretty popular these days.

That was so much fun and got me so much attention on cruise nights. Being a car guy definitely kept me out of trouble in those days.

1980 Ford Pinto that my dad bought brand new. I got it in 1985. 4 cyl 4 speed car that had a trunk not hatchback. The only thing it would outrun was a Chevette. Graduated to my 1967 Camaro (327 & powerglide) in 1987 and still have it today. Been 30 years last week in fact. I remember that date better than my wedding anniversary. LOL

I agree 100%, my mom always says she's glad I was into building cars and car clubs vs being out getting in trouble.
