Based on my experience I think the dealer gets a preliminary target date for build, but it's not a true TPW until you go to 3000 or 3300 and it's actually accepted by production and scheduled. In my case the dealer said they gave him a build week date of 9/21 and when I got my 3000 status it became 9/28 and hopefully will be built next week.

Yea......

I've been at 1100 for three weeks

I am soooooooooooooooooooo not having it at this point.

After hearing all about it taking 6 days and one week I'm almost at the point of canceling the order and going somewhere else.

1100 means your dealer has your order but does not have an allocation to place it with GM. I waited 3 months...YES...3 MONTHS at 1100. Once the dealer has an allocation and places the order with GM, you will go to 2000 and them on from there. I would contact the dealer and ask them when they will get an allocation and where you are on their list of orders. I was 11th on the list when I placed my order on 6/24. I went to 2000 on 9/18 when my dealer FINALLY got an allocation for MY car.
